Dinette valence and MCD shades fell off
They fell off...short screws just in thin wall with 4 angle brackets.
Can take it for warranty repair but any good do it yourself repair suggestions?
Note...no cabinets near this. Valence is over window and isnt adjacent to other walls or ceiling. It's by itself over the window.

Yep I use these and buy them in the 50 pack I have used LOTS of them for the valance ,picture hanging etc... they are cheap and effective in the hollow walls,There are other types of drywall anchor screws that will work but this is what I use http://www.homedepot.com/p/E-Z-Ancor...5200/100133106

Are these too long for an exterior wall? Valence over dinette window is on exterior/slide wall.

Not in my experience with my Valances...OH wait I better go check the outside of the Rig for holes out there no just kidding if you are worried about that just buy a box of same size anda little shorter screws in place of the longer one's

Your fiver's aluminum wall frames are 2" thick plus the thickness of the luan panneling plus the thickness of the bracket.
