2015 Painted Front and Rear Caps-Legacy Edition

Never had any body paint on my RV but in a couple of weeks when the new trailer arrives we will. Do you treat the pain on the Montana like you would on a car? Does Keystone give any guidance on what to use or not to use on the finish? Also the rest of the trailer will have the Premium Ultra High Gloss "Noble Classic Fiberglass exterior. What have you folks been using on these new finishes to help preserve them? I use some synthetic non silicone waxes on my truck and car and have no problems.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Haven't had the paint either, but I've used Aerospace 303 on my high gloss sides and end caps. It's a bit hard to apply (streaky) until you get the hang of it. Use less product than you'd use say just waxing and always use a microfiber towel. I've used it on decals and all for 5 years ... I'm satisfied with the results.

Traded in SOB Full Body Paint and used McQuires 45 Polish from Bass Pro Shop. It worked great well I just polished the brand new 2015 Montana Legacy for the first time today. It works great on the front and rear caps that are painted as well as the Noble Classic Fiberglass on the side walls.

Has anyone every heard of "Collinite Insulator Wax 845"? A friend on another board motioned it. Available at Amazon, with remarkable reviews.

NuFinish and Meguiars have worked well for us on our fully painted Big Sky.

From what I read on another forum it was the colored gel coatings with the fading problem as opposed to the painted ones. True or not, I don't know.

I have a 2006 Montana and the one side of my campers decals are starting to lift up. Is there any remedy for this? Or fix?

I use NuFinish to polish and then Meguiars to wax. a lot of work I know but in the Florida sunshine and rain I works beautifully.

We put perma plate on our full body paint. Guaranteed for 5 years and just wash with dawn. They say do not wax it. We will see and if it works it will be best $700.00 I ever spent. Have it on the wife's BMW and her paint at 6 years looks better than my truck at 1 year. Never waxed hers.

Collinite is a very high quality product made mostly for the marine industry. I have yet to use it but I am going to get it to use it on my new monty. You can also get this product from Autogeeks , this is a high end detailing company. Also many great reviews on this product.
