Shower Leak & Solution

We have been plagued by an occasional shower leak. We have the garden tub and occasionally we would get a leak at the rear corner between the shower and the vanity. The leak was where the glass surround and the base meet. I've had the dealer look at it and tried sealing all around the inside where the surround and the base meet but it was still happening. Donna noticed during the last trip that if we kept the water from hitting the glass it didn't leak so I had a idea where to look. After looking at all the seams I had already sealed, I took a good look at the door opening. I found a space along the bottom edge behind the hinge that was open down to the base. I squirted a little water in the opening and in no time it traveled to the back corner to the site of the leak, leak source found! A little RTV in the opening the water will run back inside the shower and that should do it!
