Oak cell phone holder?
I was looking at the Montana site and saw that 2007s in their Customer Convenience Group an Oak cell phone holder and charger was part of the package. Did not see one in mine, took delivery 2 weeks ago. This something worth chasing the dealer for?

Hi Steve and Brenda,
Not something I would loose sleep over. Some times put the cell phone charger in it, but usually part of the cord hangs out and looks a little messy. Different strokes for different folks, some may use it a lot or for something else. We'll see what comes along.

I'm with you J&D, I think it's pretty much useless. Both of our cell phones just lay on the counter.

I like having the cell phone holder. I use it to charge my phone. The electrical outlet is close by. Once charged I keep it close to me, wherever that might be. For me I am glad I have it and is worth asking why it is not my Montana.

When we were looking at different 2006 models , some of them had the cell phone holder and some did not. When we looked at the 2007 3650RK that we bought, it didn't have one. We mentioned it to the salesman and he couldn't explain why it didn't have one, just that it didn't have one.
I agree with the others, not a big deal. DW plugs in her cell phone charger in the kitchen by the sink. I plug in mine in the bedroom.
Whatever floats your boat. I'm sure that you can buy one and install it yourself.

In my Opinion it wouldn't be worth the effort to try to find one. If it had a solid bottom it would be more useful, maybe as a pencil holder.

We use ours, all the time! Have an older (make that read, larger) cell phone, and as stated the holder is near the electric on the desk. I plug in , extend the antenna, grab the hardware/cords for the phone and computer, plug in and away ole Carol goes surfing and charging.
At some point we will upgrade all this and probably have an air card (at least 18 months from now), but I will still plug my phone in there, heavens I have a pattern, I know where it is, and I can find it when it rings!
That corner of our Tana is full of cords anyway, cause of all the computer gear, so, what is one more!
ON EDIT, can't you get stuff like this at CW?? Or, maybe even order one from Keystone via your dealer??

I installed several oak "TV Remote Holders" - they have solid bottoms and double back tape. One is for the remote, one for a Post'em pad and pen, and one for my wife's reading glasses. There is a double width one, also but nothing seems to wind up in it (yet).

It's something I think I would check on since it's listed in the package. As has been said though, it seems like they are available at CW or similar places. Our previously enjoyed Monty didn't have one and I preferred having the cell phone in some type of holder for charging and sitting out in plain sight when we were in the "house". Virgil made a small free standing one that works great for us.

You're lucky you don't have one.
We don't use ours for cell phones. Dory uses it to stuff the "Honey Do List" for all the things Brad needs to fix or change on the Monty next time we get it out!

I stick my flashlight in there, since the flashlight that came with the trailer never worked.

I use mine...and it is very handy (by the door), so I don't forget my phone when I leave. Like others said, you can buy something similar. It would be nice if the holders were a little larger though.

I don't think they are putting them in any more. We saw some when we first started looking at Montanas, but none of the newer models seem to have them.

Our '05 has one and we do not use it for the cell phone. Since our remote for the air/furnace still works we put that in the holder, rides very nice when moving. Of course it is useless when running the air/ furnace if you leave it there.

We have one, wouldn't miss it if it disappeared overnight. Sometimes we stick the cell phone in it during the day, sometimes not. Never used it with a charger, we keep our chargers hooked up at other location(s) in the rig.

Ours hold pens and pencils. Flip phones don't fit and charger won't work there. We did add an oak "remote holder" for all of the remotes. We actually can find them!! Whatever works for you.

Ours came with the fabeled cell phone holder but we used it to hold the HVAC remote control.....when we HAD a remote control. Glad that thing is gone. We use our holder now for air freshners or keys.
