I added a dvd/vcr combo to my bedroom tv. Now I can watch two different programs at the same time. =)

Our bedroom TV space had two cable inputs. The standard boosted roof antenna and second that came from the main TV space connected to the exterior satellite or cable jacks. I intercepted the run between the main TV and bedroom TV, and just installed a splitter so that all inputs to the main TV go to the bedrooms as well (DVD, Cable, Dish, etc.). I also added a video switch at the bedroom TV to bring in the roof antenna independantly if I want to.

Check out the Winegard® Video Distribution Switches at Camping World. They allow you to select input sources and output locations. Looks like a simple way to switch back and forth between TV's. I just ordered one but haven't installed it yet. I was tired of hooking and unhooking cables at the entertainment center to get various signals to each TV.

I have been able to hook the DVD to both TV's by using a splitter and sending the signal from the EC to the bedroom using the ant output connection on the wall. Just make sure the ant booster switch is off for it to work.
