Where is the water pump on the 2955RL

We picked up our 06 Montana 2955RL yesterday and so far we are very pleased with this unit. The fit and finish is great and it towed real well behind my 05 F350.
Where is the water pump on this unit? We had a good 2 hour presentation of everything but this got left out.

So far the only thing I don't like is that stiff ugly 50 amp cord.
Surely they could have gotten something more flexible than this.

I will get a 30 amp adapter that plugs into the trailer and use a 30 amp cord most of the time. It is rare that you would need the 50 amp cord so a lighter 30 amp would be nice. Thanks again.

On my '04 2955 the water pump is under the kitchen sink.

Also my 04 is one of a dying breed, it is 30 AMP and Thank You Very Much has a 30 amp cord. The only reason Montana moved up to 50 amp in the 2955 was the washer/dryer prep, I don't think a second A/C is available on the 2955, so if you don't use the w/d you won't need the 50 amp.

I knew it wasn't under the sink so I hit the button and listened. Turns out it is in the basement storage on the non-slide side. I had to remove 4 screws and slide a panel out and there it is right behind the furnace. It has a valve on it and a short hose for easy winterising. You just turn the valve and put the hose into a jug of RV antifreeze.

Also mine is wired for a second A/C but I don't think I will ever need one. We did get the little Splendide Washer/dryer installed but 30 amp will work fine when we do a wash if we don't use the A/C or the convection oven which is 1800 watts and I guess that is another reason they went for the 50 Amp service.

I was really impressed with how well the Montana pulls. It made my truck ride nicer and I had a hard time to keep from speeding. I passed quite a few cars and the unit really feels stable.

I have the built in brake control on my 05 Ford F350 and it worked better than any of my previous brake controls. I set the gain at 7, the tires in the trailer would lock up. I set it on 6.5 and the brakes worked sweet.

Wrenchtraveller,

The bypass for the water heater is opposite the pump and you have to remove the other panel in the storage area to get to it. Just an FYI.
