Tire mounting

If we get new tires for our Montana 5th wheel, who would mount them on the camper? We do not want to deal with camping world! Thanks!

My tire dealer is doing everything. I deal with a local shop in a very small town though.

I did mine self service. Ordered tires online, shipped to house, pulled wheels/tires from Monty, had Pep Boys do the tire swap and balance (never again will I step foot near a Pep Boys) mounted back on and our first trip on the new tires is coming up.

If you do swap out tires, be sure to get metal valve stems. An important point Pep Boys failed in the work. The stock rubber stems are only good for 65 psi. Most G loaded tires are 110 psi.

Most all tire dealers install RV tire's. Had America's tire and Big O do our RV tire's. Did quick search in your area. Don't know any of these dealers, but found several with great reviews. Frank's RV, was one such example. Note: the WallMart's in our area sell tire's for RVs and mount them. Just do search for RV tire dealers in your town. Looks like you have some good options!

My G614s came in this week at Discount. I used level up system so they did not get an opportunity to mess up axles or suspension. I stay with my unit the whole time anyone works on it if I can. They were mounting the new tires when I noticed that they had not replaced the old valve stems (80 psi). When I mentioned it, they discovered that they did not have the all steel stems needed for these tires. They had to order some to be delivered from a nearby parts house. Waited an hour. But better than driving off with old 80 psi stems. You gotta watch'em. No trip with new tires until March. Re-setting Tire Minder to accommodate higher pressure settings.
