Send in warranty cards

Do I need to send in all the warranty cards for everything in the camper or if I have a claim would they just go by the date the camper was purchased? Thanks for you help in advance. As you probably can tell I hate paper work!!!

I am pretty sure you need to send them all in. Our dealer had us sign all the Warranties on all the vendor supplied products and the dealer sent them in for us...

Rich, that may be true, but in my experience, all that does is get you on another 20 junk mailing lists. Your dealer delivery paperwork should be the key to any claims.
Doesn't matter how long it sat before you took title, it works that way with my A/C units.

Ozz-I think the warranty cards would be beneficial for recalls more so than warranty work.

I filled ours out, gave them a couple of second thoughts, and put them back in the plastic bag with the rest of the paperwork. I despise junk mail and junk phone calls.

I sent all of ours in or did it on line where available. I have not received any junk mail from anyone about the Monty or its equipment. We did received an offer to extend warranty on a couple but that is it. I agree it is more for recalls than anything else.
Happy trails........................

In order for companies to stand behind their warranties, it is not necessary to send in the warranty card. The company is obligated to stand behind their warranty as specified in whatever paperwork you may have. All you need is your receipt of purchase if any question arises. I agree with previous comments that the warranty card just gets you mail you don't want. Companies make use of the cards to determine demographics and purchasing habits. We don't send any in and every product we have that has had faults of any kind have been taken care of. One good example: We didn't like how the shrouds in our Fantastic Fans seem to be discoloring. I called Fantastic Vents and asked them how I could restore the shrouds. They sent me two new white shrouds and when I asked them if I needed to send them anything, they said "No." Our Fans are three years old!

Pat, We did them all on-line purely to try to ensure we're engaged in recalls. For repair we provide purchase information on the montana.

Having worked in Retail most of my life, I can tell you that the main reason they want those warranty cards sent in is to gather information about you and your preferences in purchases, so they can mail or if you give them your email address they can have you on their mailing addresses for advertisements. As stated earlier, the only thing you really need is original purchase receipt and your covered. Of course, not being on the mailing list, will result in you not receiving any recall notices or updates or extended warranty notices.
