Montana 3650 RK 2005

We purchased this unit over a year ago. We really enjoyed it. This model does'nt seems very popular. We don't see them on the road, nobody is talking about it. My question is WHY ?

There are 3650's on the forum. It has a nice floor plan.We did not care for any model that had the W/D closet in the front so we ordered a 3400.

If you want to install a washer/dryer in your coach I would not suggest putting it in the rear of your coach. We are having problems with our machines. We have the rear set up in our coach and now I think maybe that's asking too much from our coach. We are learning that there are limits to what you can do with your Montana.

Hi Claude & Pat - Christa and I purchased a 2005 3650RK AND WE HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER. It fit's are needs ju st fine. Plenty of counter space, and Christa love's her kitchen. I don't know what Rich means by the w/d in the rear. Rich, ours is wired for W/D in the front left side of bedroom closet.

Hi Claude & Pat

We liked the 3650RK, but opted for a little smaller unit 2980RL.
I'm still working a little and do a lot more weekend Rving. We also have a couple of extra hills over here on
the West Coast so weight was also a factor. Probably do some long hauling in another year or so.
nice to hear from another Canadian, not too many of us out there.

OOpppss...Right...In the rear of the bedroom in the front of the camper.being a Army guy I always got the bow and the stern mixed up.In the 06 it was on the Right side of the closet...Would that be port or starboard... and what was with the poop deck..didn't the Navy have bathrooms???

Yes Rich, The POOP DECK is something to stay away from, while in the Navy I never figuired out exactly where it was located, but I did step in a lot of it....

Welcom Welcome Welcome. We have the 2004 3650rk and absolutely love it. The kitchen is what caught the DW's eye. Even the Grandcuties are excited about being able to help Maw-Maw bake cookies now. Works for us

Welcome aboard Quebec On The Road and Dos-tanos and congrats on the 3650RK purchases! We really liked that model but it didn't come out until well after we purchased our Montana. I think 2004 was its first year if I remember correctly. Maybe 2005?

Correct on starboard being right and port being left. I always remembered the red light is on the left, same as port, which is red in color. The other side, starboard, has the green light (on aircraft, I mean). But I guess that depends on whether that plane is approaching you or going away from you.

The Navy has Heads, Ladders, Overheads, Bulkheads, Decks, and a myriad of other confusing terms. Sound powered phones, EMC1 (is that right?), etc.

The early 2005 and the later 2005 are different.Friend in this park has the early mine later. His W&D hookup is in the bedroom mine inside the entry door.We put in a small freezer from Sears inside. Also the outside storage door on the drivers side is not the same. His lifts up mine has two doors which swing open. There are a few more changes as well.We love ours.Jim&Jeanne

We've had our 2005 3650RF since NOV 4 and love it. We are full timers and the room in it make it fell more like a home than a RV
