Still Shopping
Still shopping for our new 5er under 35' access fridge with slides in towable with our 2500. Looked at the High Country yesterday. Eliminated the 325RL (wow are those chairs heavy and hard to move). Right now the 318RE leads the list. Not sure I like the vessel sink.
Thanks for all the good info I've found by searching the forum.

If you find a competent dealer, and the only issue was that you did not like a sink, if they have the expertise, it would not be a big deal having them swap the sink out for something more to your liking. Or if you are the handy type, that could be the first modification you could do to the rig. We are fortunate to have found a dealer that is making some major modifications to the rig for us. It may cost a little extra, but it could be well worth it.

X2 on what Bingo said. Find a floor plan that fits you and your needs. Someone on this forum can help you with whatever modifications you wish to make from there.

We love our 318RE, I wasn't too crazy about the vessel bown either but small dislike compared to the rest, especially the big shower tub. The sink does drive me nuts because you see all the water spots while on the throne. I mentioned it to the DW and she handed me a microfiber cloth and told me to be productive while sitting there. I can reach the bowl without getting up.

Also look at the Montana 3150RL or the 3100, both are right around 35 feet.
As far as the heavy chairs, lots of us have installed carpet sliders under the chairs and they move very easy now.

Bingo, we like the 3900 except for one thing, we want a tub instead of the shower because I haven't seen a shower in one that is big enough for me! Don't like to bang my elbows when turning! Is that something that could be changed or is it an option that I have never seen offered?

There is a garden tub option, but the tub itself is only about 9-12" deep. I don't think any Montana has a "real" tub option. Ironically, the garden tub has the most arm room as well. I had plenty of arm room in the 3400, but it decreased with the 3750 and appears that it ia going to decrease even more with the 3850. The Big Sky shower on the models I looked at has a bench integrated into the shower surround that could possibly be the best of both worlds (tub and shower).

we have a 323rl and probalbly similar to the 325rl and yes the chairs are haeavy to move but a carpet moveer sounds like a good idea. wasnt crazy about the vessel bowl sink but have come to gotten use to it.
