Damp carpet, dining room slideout ???

We're in the D.C. area trying to run north between storms (ha ha).
Have done pretty well since leaving Florida but I guess our luck ran out.
We have an '05 3400. Stopped here in Fredericksburg about noon sunday.
Rains here have been constant for the last 18 hours or so, some wind and gusts.
Just noticed this morning the carpet under the dining room table, especially toward the front of the slide is damp/wet, extending about 2 feet back.

The outside side black slide flap isn't bent under or anything, haven't tried to get on the roof to check the top flap.

Just wondering if others have had this situation so I can narrow my search for leaks, or, is there some thought that normal wind and extended rain would cause this ??

Jerry, I think I might want you to take a look at this. We were noticing what seem like dirty carpet along the edges of our main slide on the 3400. When we raised the carpet piece up on the slide out we noticed that there was about 1 to 1 1/2 inch gap on the slide to the lower seal. You could actually see daylight under there. This also accounted for a cold draft we were feeling in the colder climes and also how camp fire smoke was getting inside the trailer when we had everything buttoned up. We have an appointment to get the slide adjusted so it seals tight when opened up.
