Fridge Hookup

I have a 2019 Montana 5th wheel. I have installed solar panels. I would like to run my fridge from the batteries. My question is if the fridge is hard wired or plugged into an outlet. I have an inverter outlet for my microwave, I wold like to run a short ext. cord from that outlet to the outlet plug for the fridge if it is one there.
How hard is it to pull out the fridge to look behind, I understand there is propane hookup connected to the fridge.
I am not a handyman type of a person, so I will not start doing something which is to difficult to do.

First you need to determine how many amps your going to be pulling when everything turns on at once. Our old rig was set up for boon docking. 7 solar panels, six golf cart batteries and a 4500 watt inverter and we still couldn't power the things we wanted and the frig also.

DQDICK, I have 720 watts solar panels almost 300 ah batteries I will run the fridge on propane when using microwave. I have a 2000 watt inverter.
what about my question?

So you have an RV type refrigerator? One that works on Propane as well as Electric?

If so, you are much better off running the refrig on propane when dry camping.
Much, much more efficient and allows all your power from an inverter to run other things. That is the entire reason and the advantage of having an RV refrigerator.

If you still feel you must run your RV refrigerator only off electric, the outlet is located behind the refrig access panel on the outside of your unit.
Highly recommend you rethink this and use your refrig on propane when dry camping if you indeed have an RV type refrig.

Yes, I think you are right, I will not mess with it, I forgot how better the fridge works on propane.
