Joyce wants to remove some wallpaper
Joyce wants to remove the wallpaper strips that Keystone put about chair rail height here and there. She got one small piece off the other day, but can't completely get the glue off even with Go-Gone her usual go to stuff. Any ideas?

I would contact Keystone Customer Service.... Just kidding Dick. Wallpaper is a thing that inspires divorce and suicide or murder at the very least. I have done my share and removed my share but it has always been a struggle and what Keystones uses to attach it may be different from most other stuff. We have used a wallpaper remover (steamer), hot towels and you name it.
Good luck, make yourself scarce while this project is being done. Just my thoughts.

Dick, I believe that the wallpaper striping they use is a self adhesive type of application. In our previous 5er we removed the stripe in the toilet closet by heating it with an electric clothes iron and peeling it off the wall. Then I was able to remove any remaining adhesive with Zippo lighter fluid. Worked well in that camper, hopefully Montana is the same. Tim

Thanks for the suggestions, we'll be giving some of them a try.

If they used that glue to make the rest of our Montanas we would never have a light fixture fall off, or molding trims. That stuff could hold a 747 together without any rivets.
We tried everything, including gasoline.
My suggestion, what I did, covered it with a wallpaper border that was just a bit wider.

Low odor mineral spirits will cut it down and then the glue b gone. Then lots of elbow grease.
