Wow, they sure raised the price on the central vac! It is worth it though. I wouldn't have a coach without one. One of the cool things I learned here on the forum is that if you have central vac in your stick house, you can use the power bar in the coach. I tried it and it worked super. I only use it for occasional deep cleaning because the Montana's central vac works very well alone.

Our trailer didn't come with that, but after looking up the Dirt Devil, I believe it will be included in the remodel for the upcoming season.
I took a look, and have the perfect spot to install it...

My bride used ours for the first time today and she loved it. I asked her if it was worth the $400 and she said yes.
I wasnt going to order it at first, but I thought it might help during resale of the coach.

We would rather try to store the bag with the hose than try and store a vacuum somewhere.
Just our opinion.

We got rid of the blue bag and put everything in a plastic tub that is under the sink. We moved the lazy susan and the tub is part of what keeps things from falling off the lazy susan. Everything including extra bags fit in the tub except the wand and it is secured by velcro in the corner of the island cabinet.
Happy trails...................

We like ours, use it all the time. We store it under the bed in the bag.

We have it and love it or I should say the DW loves it. she will vacume the floors and put the brush attachment on and do the Day-night blinds and the cabinet doors.
But I also think it is over priced too, but anything you buy for a RV is 3 times as much for the product compaired to a item purchased for the home.

My previous post I said my dw said I would love it, well I personally think it was a waste of money. Used it yesterday (fought it really) today used a upright with attachments and filled a bag with the stuff the central vac missed. Oh well, it will be good on re-sale someday..

Ours came with a turbine driven tool - called the Rug Rat - (http://www.rvupgradestore.com/index....ROD&ProdID=145) and we also use a Eureka tool that came from the garage cleaner that is also a turbine tool.

Others have had trouble ordering from Mar Beck but that is where Steve R and Ozz got theirs. I think it depends on who you talk to. I like the Rug Rat and looks like it would be easier to order. If you do, let me know. We were kind of waiting to get one until we were ready to take off.
Happy trails.....................

Very interesting..Our new Monty came with central vac and we haven't used it yet. We had a good Dirt Devil which worked great on the dog and cat hair, so just broughtit over from the old Wilderness. Will have to give it a whirl. Thanks Sue on the Rugrat info..
