direct tv hook up

we have our dish on a pole outside our camper,we put the cable on the hook up outside the camper cant get it in. run the cable threw the window it comes in perfect,were under the impression that it was cable ready,we are newbies hate the wire running threw the window is there anything else we might have to do.thank-you
