It's been my experience that those monitor stations are a joke. I've had three RV's with them and everyone of them have functioned the same way. I just don't bother.....I can usually estimate how much is in the tanks. When I dump the tanks I try to place a wooden block under the tires on the opposite side to tilt the trailer toward the dump. I dump what I can and move on. I do like to add water to the black tank before traveling to slosh things around real good, then dump as soon as I can thereafter.
