In-Command on 2019 Montana High Country 330RL?

Good morning!

My wife and I just picked up our new 2019 Montana High Country 330RL and, so far, we LOVE it!

I stumbled across this great web site and have been furiously reading through some of the 'new owner' posts.

When we picked up our new Fifth Wheel, the technician who led us through the orientation didn't have any knowledge of the technology in the trailer so we would like to know if the in-command system is available in our RV. I've downloaded the app and it asks for a password/QR Code. Where would I find that?

Thanks!

Dan & Cat

Welcome to the Forum! Unfortunately for you, the In-Command system is only available on the Montana with the Legacy Package.

Welcome to the forum! Don't be discuraged, some of us didn't buy a Legacy Montana specifically because we didn't want that system.

In-Command would keep me from considering a Legacy package. I cannot tell you you how many times DW tells me her smartphone does not work.

I am certainly not all that familiar with the High Country features and options but I do not believe it is available on the High Country models.

Even with a Montana the In Command did not come as a standard feature. One had to order the Legacy package to have that feature. Once installed on your unit features could be controlled by the touch pad mounted in the control panel and as well download the app to your phone and control features from there as well.

We can easily understand how hesitant a lot of people are when considering the In Command system.

We had some reservations as well(mostly DW) but we must let you know that after a year and a half on ownership we are complete pleased with it's features and benefits.

Going forward though we are comforted by the fact that we have another 5.5 years of extended warranty.

Only more time will tell.

I fully understand Legacy is not available in HC But DW "finds" features that I never new existed when she wraps her phone around the axle.

In-Control is a nice feature, but for those destined to be tech challenged, it is a deterrent.
