HELP Mattress Size for Short Queen
We are in the process of taking our queen mattress (from our previous unit) out of our Montana because it is too long. We had purchased this mattress for our other unit and it is a really good one. We will use it in our stick house for now (ours is 22 years old). We need to order the shorter one and I remember someone saying (I think maybe Steve R.) that they order a short one and it could have been longer. So those of you who have done this, what is the length?
Happy trails........................

Parrothead, In the CW catalog they list pads at 60x79 and 60x74. The long queen will usally sell at 60x80 so not sure on the short one. Maybe its 60x75.

Our short queen measured 60 x 76. We had our good queen mattress cut down to a short queen size.

Most mattress stores will custom cut the size you want. Ours did it at no extra charge. We had ours cut two inches longer than the original mattress but find now we could have gone another inch or two beyond that with no problem closing the slide. I wish we'd gone 4 inches longer rather than 2. We just pushed the mattress all the way forward with slide closed and measured the gap to the dresser.

parrot head, if you get up by Spokane, WA ... a place called Mason Mattress @ 509-534-2292 can custom make about any thing you want. We had a 62 x 78 made for our Monty at less than half of what big name foam matresses wanted. They use several layers of foams, with the mememory foam on top. Best i've seen.
