the cordless vacuum that came with the Monty wouldn't stay charged long enough to do a hurry-up vacuum job in the living room. Then wait 8-12 hrs charging time to finish vacuuming. I replaced the POS cordless with a corded vacuum.

The central vac system seems to be working well.

My wife swears by her little Dirt Devil upright. $29.00 Walmart 10 years ago and still going strong and we are full timers.

We have the built in vac, but I prefer to use our Shark cordless Rocket Pet Pro that has the self cleaning brush roll.

I have the built in one in the rig but my wife bought Vabroom Cordless 2-in-1 Sweeper with Built-in Vacuum and I use that all the time.

Intervac central vac in the Monty. We like it. Don’t really see any reasons listed why others don’t like the central vac, but that’s fine, whatever you like works. We have a beam central vac in the boat and like that too. Maybe we’re just used to the central vacs.

Central vac is ok, but you will be surprised how much more a regular vac picks up. We use Bissel from Walmart, $50 and is easy to disassemble and clean.

Ah, Good point, I can see that on carpets, which I believe your coach has some of. Our Monty has none.

Owning an Australian Shepard the Central vac on our Monty works great .
Although dragging that hose around is a PITA .

Ours stopped working yesterday. We used it for about 10 minutes **** it off and when I tried to use it a few minutes later it popped the gfi on the inverter. Rest it and it didn’t work again. We mostly use a shark vac but for somethings it work better, like in the storage compartment. Anyway, I still want to figure out what happened between uses and get it fixed. Any ideas or experience on this and what the problem is?
