Building your own 5th wheel

I came across this when viewing another RV video that was referenced in another thread here. Check this out and I wonder how much this thing weighed when he was done. No aluminum framing on this baby and he has allot of time on his hand.

That was remarkable, The man has talent and a lot of gut's. I will say that he is probably far better off. He know's what is behind the wall's and trim. We find out after the first trip, what was not screwed or braced properly. It appears he took his time and did a great job, His wife was right in there helping, and also his children. Now that would be a great family project and something at least the oldest son, will never forget... BRAVO to him...
