Well I missed this one ...

...I am 52 and Dick is 48. Yep, I robbed the cradle but heck he was so irresistible!

Dick works in one of the GM factories that builds the pick ups many of us use. I am a Certified Laser Tech and an Electrologist. We both plan on working for two more years (by the grace of God it will only be that long) and then we're headed off to Montana to build a house and live there. If we don't do that right away we will be RV-ing around the country in our Montana. Either way it's a win/win situation.

Bear Hunter, your wife needs to retire. No one needs to be working in an ER at 60. I know from personal experience! Judy

I will be 55 in about 25 days. Kathleen is 54. She is a State Park Manager, and I develop web based logistics applications for the Government. I retired from the Military after 30 years, but just can't seem to stop working. I am ready to full-time, but Kathleen is attached to our brick house. But.... buying the Montana was HER idea!

I'll be 51 in September,Cathy is 55. We've been camping for over 15 years. We never had any children of our own but spoil the ones we do know. The kids in the neighborhood always come to us first when selling something or raising money. We never turn them away. Our dogs have been a big part of our 24 years of married life, they have always traveled with us.The two dogs we have now are both rescued from the pound and have turned out great. They know whats going on when they see me getting the fifth wheel ready.
I've got a long way to go before retirement but we do know, when the time comes, we want to travel this great land.

Diane and I both work at Dawson College, she works in Conted and I work in networks/labs. I'm 61 and she is 57. We both subscribe to the idea that you may have to grow old but you don't have to grow up.We plan to retire in November 2007 and are 'practicing' every chance we get. No kids, three cats (one of which like to travel with us) and lots of fish. Anyone ever figured out how to carry an aquarium in a Montana?

Diane and I both love painting and gardening

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!! Wayne is 64 and I'm 62. This past year we've sold all our cattle and some of our land and I'm working about half time carrying mail (share with my daughter). We plan on going someplace warmer for a couple of months this coming winter but we'll still farm for awhile. We have 2 daughters and 4 grandkids ages 22,18,14 and 12. Tasha, our dog, will be coming with us. So far we've only stayed in the camper a couple nights---fun! Marilyn

Thought I might be the baby but saw a couple of other who have me beat.
35, wife is 34; kids 6,4 and 1. Married going on 14 years this September. Our sixth camper since we were married. Graduated from three different pop ups, bought our first TT in 1995, new Sportsmen 24ft in 1998, new 28ft Outback in 2002, and now the Mountaineer as of Sept, 2004. (needed the triple bunk...oops)
The Mountaineer has been the best we've owned as far as comfort and a quality built unit.

One thing I really like about this forum is the wide range of ages and yet everyone seems to get along well. We don't all agree on the same things but everyone respects everyone else's opinions. We saw the same camaraderie at the rally in September. What a terrific group of people.

This is a very interesting thread - enjoyed reading about everyone. We're some of the older ones (we don't feel old tho!). He's 68 and I'm 67 and will celebrate 47 years together in Sept. We enjoy good health and are quite active with our skiing, snowshoeing, bicycle riding, tennis, hiking and golf. We are blessed to still have some of our parents. My mom is 93 and his parents are 92 and 96! We're not fulltiming but on the road quite a bit - more all the time. Do enjoy montonaowners.

My wife and I are both 42. One son that is 16 and just started driving. Asked me last week when he would get to tow the Monty...

We are on our third camper. Started with a Colman pop-up then went to a Prowler TT then the Monty. Not sure what is next. I think SHE has he eyes on a boat.

It is great to see the diversity of Monty owners. I hope to attend a MOC rally in the future and meet some of you fine folks.

Wasn't going to join this thread. OK, here goes. I am 69, wife Toni is 66. We retired Summer of 2002. Sure enjoy our Monty. This is the second 5er. Most of the time it is just short stays in the NW as we have an older house and big yard to keep up. In the summer I supply the neighborhood with veges from the garden. Really want to make that big trip. Just can't figure out when. Hope to see some of MOC folks as we make out flight south in Jan.

We missed this thread somehow also.... but here it goes:

Doug: 29 years, 278 months

Margee: 29 years, 281 months

Doug just doesn't let Margee forget the fact that she is a whole 3 months older!
