The weather is beautiful. The sky was clear and soooo blue today. The winds are scheduled to die down starting tomorrow (I hope they know that!) and no rain is in the forecast. Travel safe and we look forward to having you join the party.

Dick and Joy, I can't speak for melnjoy but I think they're on MIMF1's list for repairs, the same as we are. They are flying in a tech to do the repairs, at last report. We have a leaking cylinder that they're going to fix, too. I'm sure melnjoy will be along to correct me if I'm wrong.

Drive safely you guys. There is an empty spot right behind us that SteveR says has your name on it. This is one time that I know we are going to love our neighbors. Can't wait to meet the rest of the ones already here. Now if I could just remember names.

Mel and Joy, we have enjoyed meeting you folks along with everyone else. I can't believe one more day and the rally is over already! This has been a tremendously enjoyable rally. Lots of great people, too. We like to think we've made a number of new friends this past week or so.

Today we started towards Walmart and decided to detour to highways 88/89 as Firetruckerwife and PERetired told us about and saw the fall foliage. We detoured onto a few side roads and found a stream with lots of little rapids and waterfalls. Absolutely gorgeous in and among the aspens and other trees. We also detoured a bit to the Tallac Historical Site up along Lake Tahoe. We'd been there briefly earlier on our tour around the lake but hadn't had time to walk around. The museums were closed for the winter but wandering amont the buildings and reading the plaques was enjoyable as was seeing all the colorful foliage. Then we went another mile up the stream to the Taylor Creek Bridge where you can watch hundreds (thousands?) of salmon spawning. It was a really nice day.

PERetired, we looked for you along 88/89 but didn't see you.
