Flag Poles

I have searched the sites and read all i could find about the poles that are being used.. I think Iam going to use the plate under the front tripod but I have looked at tons of poles and think it is down to 20'alum telescopic or fiberglass 20' telescopic I was wondering if the glass swayed more and hits the front cap. any recommendations.

With our aluminum flagpole, it has never hit the cap. that is using it with a bipod with the legs going out to the sides.

If you get one of the stands that has a plate to put under the tripod, it should be long enough to give you some distance to keep it away from the cap. Especially if you put it under the foot of the tripod furthest away from the front cap.

If you know someone who can weld have them make you up a plate with pipe sticking up. I had a buddy of mine make me one and I put it under the front tripod leg on my Montana

When you say "tripod" do you mean the king pin stabilzer? and does anyone have a picture of how that looks... Kevin and I want to gt a flag... had to get rid of the wood pole.. "hang it on the front of the stick house" kind that we used to own..
Have had one flying more or less continually since 911..

Yes I do mean the king pin stabilzer. we had one prior and had it strap around the front slide w/a ratchet strap and started to pull on the rubber roof so I took it down need to change and I have had a flag and POW flag up so I miss it even at the stick house since about 87.
