Birthdays

I've noticed that there seems to be a lot of members turning 13 soon. Just wondering how everyone tows their Monty's without a driver's license?

Guess I never paid attention to the birthday part till now. Yea is everyone afraid to tell their age. The older you get the smarter you get. Right ?

My favorite saying,,,"Age is a matter of mind. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter!"

I always say "you got to get old to have a long life" I am probably one of the oldest members at 73, but in my mind I might just be one of the youngest. Being an old Jimmy Buffett parrothead, I am growing out, but not up. I feel like for my age I am in pretty good shape and will try to keep on trucking for as long as I can.

Age doesn't bother me, but I think Wendy has been stuck at 29 for 10+ years. Her cover is blown every time our 5 year old grand daughter is with us when she yells out Grandma... Grandma.

You have to have a drivers license to tow a Montana? Well, that stinks!

I'm coming up on age 3A. Of course, that's in hexadecimal. For now, I'm still legitimately 39 (hexidecimal).

Well the little women and I are both 55 which is probably younger than a lot of you seasoned full timers. I can say truthfully that I feel 18 and will continue to work, travel, and have a great time for a little longer, and then intend to burn the wheels off truck and trailer. You are only as old as you feel. Just to give you an insight, I travel on my job about 80% of the time too, as done my wife with her job. So, you can see we are a very active and on the go couple even before we hook up to the Monty.

Well as someone above stated I aint proud either...I am 48 the wife 46. Age is what you make it. I still occasionally put on football pads and play a game or two, still play basketball, camp, shoot, and ride the heck out of my ATV and motorcycle. Last year I was the oldest guy playing in the alumni football game. Like Native Tex stated you are only as old as you feel. I dont feel old. I dont plan on working (doing what I currently do)for many more years. We plan to follow our youngest around the country when he starts playing football in college (1 year before that happens).

Isn't life grand!

Native Tex do you have any children in the military. I noticed your quote. My oldest is in the Navy, my daughter's soon to be husband is Navy, and my wife and I are x-Navy (I particapated in the first Iraq War). My oldest son was on the first carrier out in response to 911. He was gone 9 months on the Roosevelt back 3 months and then off to Iraq for 6 months on the Enterprise. SO RIGHT ON MAN! Support our Troops!

With that all said please enjoy my favorite quote:
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even
though checkered by failure, than to take rank with those poor spirits who
neither enjoy much or suffer much, because they live in the gray twilight
that knows not victory nor defeat.”

-Theodore Roosevelt

Well, I guess I'll translate the hexadecimal for those not familiar with that number base. I'm 57 for a short time yet, Vicki's 55. We started fulltiming a month after I turned 56. Vicki was 53.

Glen and Judy...where in Alabama do you live?...We are originally from the Talladega area and lived and worked in Huntsville for NASA for many years. We hope to visit our kids, who still live in Huntsville as soon as it warms up a little up that way...pobably about the last of March.

Well, I'm (Sharon) 61 and Dennis won't be 61 until April. I'm six months older than he is--I guess I robbed the cradle .

Okay Steve,

Here is my age in binary. 111110

Hexadecimal never made since to me. Of course, binary didn't either.

Oh, my wife is 111001.

Five years difference in age, huh, Brad? Hex I can do in my head but binary requires I get a pen and paper. In the Navy we had machines that used octal. But octal makes me seem older (71) while hex makes me seem younger (39) and binary makes me **really** old (111001, same as your wife). Let's see, Vicki is 69/37/110111 in octal/hex/binary. Just a youngster.

Brad, in hex you are 3E, two years to 40! 3F next year.
