I have a king-dome semi auto unit that i really like. It list's for only $899.00 + install and it is easy to use after you get used to it. Also you can adjust it for best reception ans it will carry 2 t.v.s.
Might want to check it out

We have had a roof mounted DirecTV since we purchased our 5th wheel in February. In addition to this, we added our son-in-law to our account and while we are out rv'ing, we both are able to pick up programs.

Our roof mounted dish searches for the satellite and has been fairly good for us. There was one time when we did have some trees in the way, but that was only because of a gigantic windstorm in Moab, UT.

Our son-in-law watches to see where our dish is pointed and then he places his in the same direction - off of a tripod.

Just to clarify, all the recent Directv installations I've seen lately are triples looking at 3 sats, same as the Echostar with locals.

Thanks for the info Henry, where did you find the King Dome? The only catalog I have only has winegard. VanMan, the website you posted is really cool. That guy has alot of neat ideas posted there, thanks. Ron, is the skew the rotation of the dish. I went up on the roof and looked at the dish and I see it can be twisted also. Thanks for all the help.
