solar panels

I'm Looking for a solar panel to maintain my battery through this winter here in Ar. as I'm fortunate to have a job close to the house this winter and want to get away from having to use 150 ft. extension cord. The ones I've seen are quite pricey and the cheap ones just have alligater clips. These units seem cheap and i don't want to ruin my battery or fifth wheel.(a montana 2955 RL)Any advice would be helpful.thankyou for your time&Happy Holidays,rick,Ironworkers#321,LR.AR.

If You don't plan on using the trailer for a while I'd just take the battery out and put a cheap maintainer on it or change it monthly. If You are going to use the trailer then put it back in. It only takes a few minutes to do.

Rick; If your going to be in Arizona or other sunney clime a small photovoltec panel will keep your bat. up. get one thatputs out about 1 amp use # 10 or 8 ga. wire and you could do without a charge controler, Basicly just a trickle charger. you can get away with just a set of aligator clips.
good luck, Dave Anderson
