Slide in room?

I can't tell from the floor plans but it looks like there are a bunch where the slides when closed prevent using the bathroom or bedroom. Our dealer doesn't have but a few so I can't see for myself. What do you have and is this a problem when you stop at the roadside or rest stop for a meal and nap?

Our 2014 3725RL is designed to you can get to the bathroom with slides in. By going through bathroom you could get onto king bed, still with slides in. However, I am 6'1"/240....if I was any bigger I would not be squeezing through that bathroom door with the slide closed because it is tight.

We can use the bathroom and the frig without putting slides out, but the bedroom is an impossibility. As a result, that slide and the stairs have reflective tape on them to try and prevent problems when we overnight.

On our 3000RK, you can get to the bathroom and bed but not the kitchen.

On the 3800, you can get to the bedroom through the bathroom, but the rest of the unit is not available. We don't stop at rest stops to sleep. We are on the road and off again at the next campground by 5 at the latest. I would say that most rigs are very limited when slides are in. The idea is to choose a floor plan based on your likes and the type of camping you are going to be doing. If you are going to be living in it for months at a time or full-time as we do, then you best choose very carefully. Storage needs are much greater for us and a layout that doesn't fit will only be a turn off real quick. How livable it is when it is set up in the campground is the question that you need to ask yourself. The road is for getting from point a to point b...period. john

We have access to 1/2 of fridge, the whole freezer, bathroom and bedroom with slides in. Of course, the bed takes up the space in the bedroom, but we could get to the front closet if we had to.

We can get to the fridge with the slides in through the front door. We can get to the bathroom and on through to the bedroom via the back door. With the slides in we cannot get from the front to the back due to the kitchen slide.

On my 3400rl, I can get to the fridge, and the bathroom no problem. I could even sleep on the bed with the bedroom slide in, but the foot of the bed is touching the drawers on that side of the trailer, so there would be no hanging the feet off the end of the bed! But other than that, the bed is available.

We can get to everything in our '14 3150RL. I understand that this floor plan is no longer made, but we love it.

We selected the 3750 because we can use kitchen, and bathroom on the road. No slides need to be moved. We have napped on front couches in Living room by slightly opening, just one of the front elect slides. I have an RV because I hate public rest rooms! Been looking at other floor-plans in our next RV. It's a requirement to get to fridge and restroom. Note: TMI perhaps, but we keep two jugs of water in Bathroom for flushing. No need to turn on pump and risk leaving it on!

No way would I even try to get into our bathroom with the slide closed 2014 37&1/4 but with the electric bedroom slide it only takes a moment to open it. On our trip out to Colorado we stopped Ina rest area pushed open the bed slide and stayed over nite never opening the other rooms just got up hooked the gen up and showered and the DW did her hair closed it up and went on the road. The fridge is accessible with the slides closed that's was the big thing to us.

We have a 3580 RL with 3 slides and can use the 4 door refrigerator, bath room ( head, shower, sink ) and bed with all slides in. That was one of the most important reasons we went with the 3580.
