Has anyone had to replace the switch on the above recliners? If so, where did you find replacement and how to access inside the chair to replace? Picture attached.

There are many threads on replacing the OEM recliners and couch.

I think the bezel twists or pops off, then there are 4 screws. oh just looked closer at the picture, looks like yours arent round like mine.

Im half asleep, dang daylight saving time! I know I shouldnt operate this computer while under the influence of spring forward!

Thomas Payne furniture is part of Lippert. They have lots of documentation and support for these chairs. I poked around a bit on the Lippert website looking for a topic related to "switch replacement" and did not find anything for that issue...but they do have videos and paper instructions for how to replace a controller. I would suggest calling Lippert and describe your symptoms. It may be a controller - not a switch probelm.

One side of ours was replaced under warranty since the lights underneath would not turn off. Are you sure the switch is the problem? Some of the controls is in the plug part where the cord comes out of the chair. You could try swapping them to see if there is any difference.

Pull the chair out and flip it over and you'll see the control box. It's easy to replace. I called Lippert Customer Service (574) 537-8900, and they sent me new control boxes for both. The cost was very cheap. First double check that nothing came unplugged, i.e. lower led floor lights, or your armrest control buttons.
