Ceiling Paper on 2019 Montana High Country

Have a leak in the rear ceiling of our 330 rl that we thought we had licked.
Had a rainstorm and found out we had not fixed it. When we get back to New England, DH (btw what do those initials mean?) is going to tackle taking the ceiling down and see what actual damage has been done, hopefully no mold.
DH is skilled enough to tackle this project, however, if anyone has any helpful hints, any advice is appreciated. We suspect the rear AC was never properly sealed, is leaking slow, and is manifested after a heavy rain, as we have found water spots on the rear couch. I vowed, when we got this RV, that it would never go back to a dealership for repairs. Lost 5 months of our original warranty to a shoddy dealership, that unbeknown to us, was up for sale.
Anyway, question is...the ceiling has a "paper " glued on it so it's either find the paper or we would have to then have the entire ceiling painted after the repair. Does anyone have any thoughts where the ceiling panels were made?
Appreciate any thoughts.

I had a similar problem on my 2019 384BR. Water dripping from ceiling onto rear couch. 2 dealers were not able to find the problem. I finally pulled the rear A/C and found the holes cut in the roof for the A/C were too large and the gasket was not sealing, allowing water to enter the ceiling and drip on the couch. I added a 2x4 to the opening in the roof to make the gasket fit and resealed everything and have not had any drips since then.
No idea about the ceiling paper.

I've added ceiling vents for better cooling on units over the years and just happened to stash a partial cutout of a ceiling panel. Your fiver is a little newer so they may have changed the ceiling panels which are the same construction as most wall panels, but I kinda doubt it. Any ways here's a photo of an 5/32" ceiling panel cross section. It has 3 parts glued and pressed together ... inner core with two very thin outer layers of wood veneer. I don't think your outer layer is "paper" but painted over textured veneer. Unless your ceiling is puckered, I'd just roll some Kilz stain blocker on it, and then get some matching flat (or satin) paint to cover the water stains. You may have to roll the entire section of ceiling to the next joiner to make it look right.
