Exclamation Furnace 15 AMP Fuse

Have a 2019 Montana 3811MS. The 15 AMP Fuse for the furnace is a difference color (Black) (all the others are a light blue) and slightly thicker size than all the other 15 AMP fuses in my fuse panel. Can I put a normal 15 AMP fuse in for the furnace or is it a specialized 15 AMP fuse? Reason for asking the top cap for this fuse came off when I pulled it.

15 amp fuse

There was a thread about that fuse being a self-resetting fuse a few weeks ago, and that they were hard to find but one was purchased from dometic. Not sure I know how to link to another thread on my iPad but here goes...
Nope...don’t know how. Try searching “15 amp fuse” and I think the thread was from Dec 27 or so.

The answer is yes, you can substitute a regular 15A fuse temporarily. The regular fuse blade is thinner. It is VERY loose. You need to put a little twist to the blade to make it fit tight. Just had to do this for troubleshooting mine this evening. Long story for another thread. Mine is working for now.

The only place I could find for a replacement fuse was Dometic and the fuse is expensive, compared to a normal fuze, and the shipping cost enough I just had them send me two.
