Cody, Wyoming suggestions

We are headed to Cody and are looking for campground recommendations and suggestions on what to do in the area.

We stay in Absaroka Bay RV Park
2002 Mountain View Drive, Cody, WY 82414 (307) 527-7440. Nice park with fairly large sites. There are several other nice parks also.
Enjoy Cody and be sure to see Cody Museum if you haven't.

We are presently in Cody staying at Ponderosa Campground. Its a nice CG and I am in a pull thru site (81) and the staff here is great. They give you a lot of info on Cody, places to see and things to do. They have a lot of tickets for different things that happen here in Cody. And btw, don't forget the Cody Nite Rodeo. It was my first and has me hooked. Will be going a couple more time before we leave. We are happy here at Ponderosa. $37.00 a night if your a Good Sam or AAA card holder. A few bucks cheaper for the back ins I believe.

Absorka Bay RV is cheaper, believe its $29.00 a night there.

If you get here before the 1st of Sept. stop by lot 81 if you want. Sure we can do some BS'n...........lol

Cody has some nice RV Parks. We have not found any there that we would not stay in again. Also, If you only intend to stay overnight, the WalMart store on the West side has a large parking lot for RV's. Also there is a large RV Parking Lot at the Cody Museum and the Museum is a must to see while yhou are there.
