New washer-dryer

I want to get a washer dryer, maybe combo for the 2008 38ft Montana. What do you suggest?

I would highly recommend the Splendide Ariston stackable washer and dryer. Have had mine since July and we have been full-timing since Aug 11th and I do wash whenever I like! they do a great job, smaller loads than home version but not a problem. Some have Whirlpool in their rigs, don't know how they compare for weight etc...but do know they make 24 inch units which would fit. I'm sure what ever you choose will be way better than schlepping laundry back and forth. Don't think you will regret it.

I love my Splendide 2000XC, it is a washer/dryer combo. It takes up less room than the stackables, so I still have room for shelves for towels and supplies above the unit. I can leave and when I come back the clothes are washed and dried. I usually reduce the dry time about 10-20 minutes so when I come back I finish drying and get rid of any wrinkles. You do have to do smaller loads and more often but it sure beats the laundromat and wondering what was in those washers and dryers before you walked in.

We have the Splendide combo unit also and love it. What is the model number of your Monty? Our 3665 only has room for a combo but it hasn't been a problem.

We have the Splendide 2100 combo and have been using it for about 5 years now. We spend an excess of 6 months a year in our unit and dw loves it!

Many of us have Splendide units and I have heard few, if any, complaints about failures/problems with them.
Ours is also a combo as we did not have room for separate units. But we really like the feature where you can put in a load, set it to wash AND dry, go off and leave it, and come back to a clean, dry load of laundry.

We have the combo and really enjoy going somewhere and returning to a load of clothes that has finished. Smaller loads really do better!

If you have the room for the stackables, they will do more clothes in a given period of time. If not, the combo works well, but you have to wait through the wash and dry cycles between each load. As noted too, neither of these units have the capacity of a home unit, but that just means doing a few more loads than normal.

Oxyvegas;
I installed a Splindide 2100 combo, and just love it. Small loaded, but works great. We put laundry in and go shopping or exploring and laundry is done when we get back. Jackie thinks this is the best mod I have done.

We have the Splendide stack washer and dryer and absolutely love them. Let me restate that, I absolutely love them. Bob loves that he doesn't have to go with me to do laundry anymore, or take the laundry himself! If you have room, this would be my choice. If not, the Splendide combo is a very good choice.

Using Splendide stackables for 3 yrs. full timin and broke 1 dryer belt, think they had wrong belt on cause new belt was wider and thicker, broke soon after new and been good to go since replaced, still have another spare belt just incase. Got it fixed at a CW in N.C. 3 yrs. ago.
