I am using the inline one from Camping World. So far so good. It is blue in color and cost about $12.00. Not sure how to post a link here, sorry.

We have a couple whole house units with hose fittings on them. I daisy chain them and then feed it all through a softener (On The GO brand). it has really helped with the NASTY alkali water in Vegas ant a lot of the south west. We use one sediment filter and one carbon block. The sediment gets the majority of the trash and the carbon block removes any bad taste. You can get the whole house filters at Lowes and Home Depot for around 25 to 35 dollars, the cartridge costs vary. Remember to get the male and female hose fittings also..

You might want to take a look at this site. It is the RV Water Filter Store. http://www.rvwaterfilterstore.com/index.htm

We use a set of filters from the rvwaterfilterstore.com and an "On the go" softener. Have used this set up for several years and it has worked well everywhere.

Here is how we handle our filtering...like many we purchased from the rvwaterfilerstore.com, great service.

We use sediment filter, iron filter and then a carbon filter.
Good Luck,
Les

When you are at the RV Water Filter Store, click on Ask Rick and tell him what you want to do and you'll find that he knows what he's talking about when it comes to water filtration. We've used his stuff for 11 years.

Inline Camco water filter from Amazon, about $18 delivered to your door (through their Prime membership). Lasts about 3 months. Works fine.
