Sea Level II
Over the weekend I installed Sea Level II tank monitor. I ran a new wire to all the tanks. The same two wire connects to all the tanks, and the senors are programmed by cutting tabs on the senors. The Gray and Black tanks are pretty easy to get to, but the Galley and Fresh water tanks are not so easy. I ended cutting a access flap to the Galley tank (it is right where the Left Rear brake wire are in case you are wondering), and a access flap just in front of the fresh water drain.
Since the temps were in the low 40's when I did all this, I had to stick a heater in there to warm the tank, before applying the senor (need to be above 60 degrees).

Here is what I ordered in case you were wondering:

Nice job. You couldn't use the existing wires?

I had planned on using 2 of the existing wires and the unit I planned on ordering is the 709-4PH the same as yours but with the pump and water heater switches to totally replace the OEM indicator box.

Hi Mike,
The hard part is getting to the side of the tank to put the sensor on. Each tank has 4 wires (and they look smaller than the recommended 18ga wire). It was easier to just pull the one pair of wires, and not touch the factory wires, 16 factory wires vs 2 Sea Level wires.
So just for fun, I can now compare the two. I can't tell you how many times factory monitor says the Grey or Galley is full, and I pull my tot over to dump it, and only get 25-30 gallons out of the 46 Gallon tanks. A lot of the time I could have waited until we left, but didn't want things overflowing, so I dumped it.
Hopefully I will have better info now, and won't have to mess with the tot as much.

Dave,
How do you tell the water heater run on gas or electric then? I only saw one switch for the water heater, mine has two switches, one for electric and one for gas.

Will do Ron,
We are heading out in a couple weeks to a State Park. Water and 30 Amp service, so will be a good test.
