Solar Output at Quartzsite

Last two days we've been able to run the heat (a lot) plus the tv, coffee maker and the endless technology for work etc etc, and I am supplying it all from the solar that we installed in the fall.

Haven't had to run the generator and now with it getting warmer - don't think I'll have to.

My output yesterday was about 140 amp hrs and pmax was 330w.

I have 612w of panels on the roof. The are thin panels so the don't tilt.

With the lower sun, shorter days etc just wondering how that performance compares to you long time solar users.

Hi Greg,

Those numbers look like what I see. Summer time you will rated power plus a little for just few hours when the sun is directly overhead.

Sure wish I could be there.

Hey John,

Very pleased with the performance thus far. I have much more power than I need. I'm going to have to start a CoGen Plant.

We've got 460 watts of the flat panels up there as you know. Today down here in South, South Texas, 5 miles from Mexico, we got 200 watts and 65.1 amp hours. Mostly sunny today also. 10 days ago we had a really sunny day and got 281 watts, best we've seen since we got to this area of the RGV this winter.
