Add-On Weingard Batwing Antenna

I have seen an add on antenna for the Weingard batwing antenna to assist and improve the range for digital reception.

Has anyone had any experience with this antenna?

bw2, I ordered one last week from our Camping World. They were out of stock and they ordered in 50 of them, mine being one of them. I don't have mine yet.
I thought I would give it a try. Recently I used the batwing to receive digital signals and I got to say they were excellent with out any add on antenna. The claim is this antenna will increase the db gain by 100%. We will see, hopefully it will help out in the fringe areas.

Bob, how are things going.

I purchased one of these a couple of weeks ago. I may have improved the signal some, but it was not anything magic. My signal stills fades at times. It did not improve my signal strength 100% as advertised.

I doubt very seriously that you will get a 100% gain in db. That's probably a misprint or at least an over exaggeration. You may get 10 to 20% gain, but I don't think you'll get much more. I could be wrong, having been wrong before.

Wwere we are currently staying we could not receive any digital stations, after adding the batwing we now get 4. We consider it money well spent
