either you bite the bullet or tell them that when you go into town they can come with you. or, tell them to take a car with them...

I agree with mazboy. They are taking advantage of you. If you loose some of them as friends because of it, they weren't real friends anyway.

do they pull the same thing every time you go camping with them ? if yes then they taking advantage of you if not no big deal but either way if you don't feel good lending them your truck don't go camping with them you don't need friends that take advantage of you a good idea is before you leave for camping ask them if they're going to tow a car for any emergency? and wait for an answer and take it from there

And when chatting around the campfire, casually mention that you could never own a motorhome without a towable. Which BTW is true for ME. If I can't tow a vehicle, I'm not owning a MH!
