Hadley Point campground

Looking for info on Hadley Point CG Bar Harbor, Me. Mostly CG site info good or not so good.

We stayed at Hadley Point when we were in Bar Harbor in 07. We stayed in Sept and we were in the area of fhu. It was the end of the season so things were winding down. The bus to town starts here and I would recommend it. Under no circumstances would I drive into Bar Harbor again, once was enough. Only a quarter mile away is the Traveling Lobster that will deliver a lobster meal to your campsite if it is the tourist season otherwise drive there to order and pickup. No on site seating. Hope his helps.

We stayed there for a week last summer and found it to be just fine. All of the full hookups were full, so we had water & electric only and used our blue boy. Like Dave says, take the bus everywhere - it's free!

I also stayed there in 2002 nice campgroung and is pretty close to most of the attractions. We were there in August and was pretty warm for that time of year, If you do the whale watching boat and they tell you to take a coat take one because when the boat gets a few miles from land the temps drop real fast, It was in the 90's on land and in the low 50's out in the ocean. You will enjoy the area lots to see and do. Roman

We stayed at Hadley in the Summer of '08 and enjoyed it very much. We concur with what's all ready been said above.

We were there the same time as Pete Hanson for 8 days.. We were in the water/electric only but they have a service that pumps you out for a very reasonable price.. We like the park very much. We took the bus into town a few times but drove the truck most of the time.. We liked having our own truck in Acadia NP because we stopped so many places along the way but if going to town only, the bus was great.
