A/C mods

Up on the roof took the cover the a/c unit in the rear siliconing all the holes took the cover off the return air and found a pair of wires not connected coming out of the control box is that right. Red and white with a clear plug. Tried to attach a pic don't know if it worked

Could be a connector for a heat pump, or heat strips. Really hard to say. If it's working you must not need it? ��

Responding specifically to "siliconing holes" ... don't silicone the holes in the bottom pan that the A/C compressor, evaporator, and fan reside in. You need those drain holes to get rid of condensate water.
