Edit - Missed your request on places to stay.

Roamers Retreat, Kinzer, PA As previously recommended. I agree this is a good one.

Pine Hill, Kutztown, PA the NE Rally was here last year.

Hershey Park RV do not stay next to the train tracks.

There are a lot more it depends on what you want to see and how long you will be staying.
