Should I take weight off the tires for winter storage in Montana (-40).

Dennis,

If you were doing real long term storage it might be good to get the weight off but not really needed for short term. Tires should be replaced every 5 or 6 years regardless of wear so a winter on jacks will not change much.

I recommend getting out and enjoying some winter camping to exercise your rig if you are up to it.

Can't hurt anything. I store my boat on a trailer and I do get the weight off the tires for the winter.

Its not really necessary to do that just make sure your on concrete or gravel not setting
on grass if you park on grass you need to put some plywood under the tires so they don't rot.
