A couple of changes in the Monty
I have recently changed my 12 volt battery to two 6 volt Trojan Golf batteries and installed LED lights in all the light fixtures except those that are the 120 volts. Thanks Mike for getting the LEDs to us before our departure.

So true Ron. We have the Honda Generators and an extended run tank also for just that reason.

With that extended run tank you should be able to make it all the way out to Nebraska for the Central Plains Regional Rally in July this year! You won't need the generators but I can promise some good times and even better food! I'm sure you're interested in that! From here you have the Whole Wild Wild West to investigate! YOu'll like those LEDs from Michael. I put mine in when we were down in Florida and had to run the slides in and out several times (thanks to the advise of John K) to get the converter wizard to show us the lights and that it was working with the battery and that included having ALL of the 12 volt lights on too! Great things those LEDs!

We love to boondock and with the LED's we not only get extended battery run times, but when we fire up the Honda(s) for air, we find they don't run as often because of the lack of heat output from the lights!

I have to agree. I bought our golf cart new in 2002. Just replaced the original Trojan 105s this past week. Got 10 years out of them!
