Truckdoc knows his dogs. It is a instinct embedded deep in their primitive brains. They are animals you know even those cute little fuzz balls have those primitive instincts lurking. My beagles loved to roll in rabbit guts .Loved to eat them also. They did not chase them for fun you know..

What's funny is to watch our Cocker Spaniel, nose to ground, running around like crazy following the scent of rabbits - while one is sitting within sight laughing at her!!

It was funny at times to watch the Beagle's "on the scent" The rabbit might be 100 feet or more in front of the dog
At times the rabbit would reverse course and pass within a few feet of the dog going the other way but "on the scent" I was standing on a log watching this one time and took the bunny down as it passed me. When the dog got there he sort of looked at me as if saying ' Why did you do that you big dummy, I had him, I had him"... This particular dog was not a pure breed and had sort of short legs and was closer to the ground .He was a good hunter but had to work harder for the reward. Don't think he appreciated me getting there first. Ah..the good ole days..

Those are referred to as "Kitty Krispies". We used to have a shepard mix who we had to wrestle with to keep her from "cleaning" the litter box.
We call the stuff in the cat box "KITTY ROCA" because it kind of looks like ALMOND ROCA. My m-i-l could no longer eat one of her favorite candies after I happened to mention the similarity.

LOL, too funny. We still have a Halloween recipe for kitty litter cake, made with crushed up Oreos and and yellow cake mix. Also very lightly nuked tootsie rolls that you roll around in the yellow cake mix. You serve it up in a litter box with a NEW UNUSED litter scoop.. Very funny and a hit... Dave and Betsy
