One night on the sleep number bed - I like!

After about two hours of hand-carrying pretty much everything (other than the 90 pound truck that George was nice enough to give me a hand with), I finally retired with the ever-present fear of waking the next morning with the ever-present pain in the back. This was to be the trial run for the Sleep Number bed which we had the dealer put in in place of hte OEM mattress, and since I had no clue what my "number" was, set it for what felt comfortable and retired for the night. Awoke this morning ready to hit the road, with no ill effects from the night's work. As a sufferer of chronic back pain, I will say that I am extremely pleased with the prospect's that appear to lie ahead with this bed (nice pun!!). Will no more after Thanksgiving after about 8 nights on it, but so far I am pleased with the swap! We had tried memory foam toppers previously but they did not work well.

I love the versatility of our stick & brick sleep number bed, especially since I have to change numbers depending on how my back is doing. Just don't forget to deflate it a bit if you go through mountains as high altitude can cause them to expand and leak.

I have back problems as well. We put one in the trailer this spring. At first the bed felt warm so I bought a bed cover that helps with that issue. Since then I've have nothing but good to say about it.I hope it helps you as it did for me.

King Size Premier RV Radius. It works with the recessed dresser drawers with no problems.

If I may but in here and comment, we have the sleep number in the stick house and like it a lot. My number is “55” Bingo, I’m sure you will like it and if I know you any at all I wouldn't be surprised that your next announcement may be one for the S&B!

Bill,
I can assure you that if I wake up pain free each day during Thanksgiving, there will be one in the S&B also.

We have had one at home for 10 plus years and have a King size deluxe in our Mountaineer 295RKD. Would not have it any other way. We rate it right up there with our coffee maker. A must have.

I think it was set on 50 for the first night. I assume it will take a few nights sleep to get it fine tuned, but 50 worked for me anyway.

We have a sleep number bed in the MH. On our last trip I awoke the first morning with a back ache as did the D/W. She smiled and looked over and said, "we have got to remember to air up this bed!"

My back set the number for me. It generally runs anywhere from 45 to 80.

We really like of SN bed(s), once you figure out your number you can set it, the same as stick/brick bed. DW 35, Mine 55. As mentioned, when changing elevation lower the pressure, but don't go to low, takes a while to air back up.
