fantastic fan gasket

From prior posts I ordered the new vent gasket from fantastic fan. Good thing. Ours stuck to the vent when it tried to open. Wife went topside to see if she could reseat the gasket. Shrunk. Would not fit anymore. So, I got out the new gasket and glued it on tonite. Hope all is ok tomorrow. I did put the 303 Protectant on the new gasket to help with the sticking problem. Looks like this may be a regular lube sequence for us in the future.

According to FanTastic Vent sticking should no longer be a problem with the "new" gasket.

I just installed the new gasket sent by Fantastic at no cost incl shipping the day before we left for AK. Works like a charm. Great to have a company that stands behind its product and makes it right with a smile on their face.

Alao had ti install the new gasket from fantastic vent. The problem with the old one was that the rubber eacted to the glue used to install it, and became "sticky". The new rubber does not react to any glues. and fits and works perfectly. It hsouldn't be necessary to use 303 on it.
The company is very quick to send out the replacement and very easy to deal with. When I replace my bathroom vent it will be with a fantastic vent.
