Today at Walmart I found a good fixed mount for an LCD TV. This mount will handle any LCD VESA style TV from 24 to 32 inches and up to 90 pounds. Most 27" LCDS are around 30 pounds so this mount is plenty strong. It is an Orbital # 77441. I only paid 38 bucks CAD, it will be cheaper in the USA.
I will build a strong wall about 3 inches in on the cavity left by the removal of the Zenith Dinosaur 75 pound 27" tube job. It kicks out a desent picture but the kids needed a better set for the Rec Room and we need a nice towel closet across from the shower so it is a win win. The Zenith is gone, never to come back and now I have to find the best LCD for the Montana. I am hoping to go for a 27", that is all the room I have . I will post the finished project when I am done.
