Battery Question

Have RV home and plan on attaching a battery tender. I have two 12v, so do I hook tender to + on one and - on the other?

I would talk to Deltran the Mfg of Battery Tender this could be tricky not the connection but if it will maintain the two batteries the same. I am sure each battery has to be the same age and condition.

Did you consider plugging in the Monty and let the converter do it's thing?

I have four batteries on my big truck, parallel, I just hook my trickle charger to the plus and neg of one battery.Been working like that for some years. Even had diff age batteries at one time, seemed to be no problem. I have the little Battery Minder, similar to the Battery Tender.

I use my Battery Minder like "ole dude" and I only had two batteries and all was fine for years. One of the batteries went dead and I am now down to the single battery I keep on the BM. I do think the battery failed on it's own (over 6 years old).

Again call Deltran 877 456 7901 they have great customer service.

A battery tender has a Microprocessor and different then other chargers I would check to be sure connecting two batteries you will get the full advantage with the step down feature that a Battery Tender has If you call please post their reply

The Deltran battery tender plus will do the trick. The battery tender junior will not as it only puts out .75 amps.
