Cabinet hindges with springs

I have been trying some cabinet hindges with springs such as you get at lowes or home depot. I have them in the bathroom where I took off the friction catches also and now am going to put them in the bedroom and remove the friction catches from the dresse also as when the slide comes in it holds the drawers closed anyway. the noise of the friction catches is bothersome to me and this is a good change. it is not for all doors as some need more closing power. What are your thoughts

Well, I'm trying to adjust the friction hinges but it's a work in progress...
Looking for a viable, good looking alternative that is E-Z and doesn't involve routering or door removal. Am I dreaming??

This is not doing anything to the cabinet doors as these hindges are the same looking as whats on your cabinets now . The spring is built into the hindge itself. No re routing of doors. sailer

You may find that without the friction catches you will have to pick up the contents of the cabinets as part of your setup routine when arriving at the campsite.

They use to have a magnetic catch. But will they hold if something falls against the door? Could do it on dbl doors, band them together when you leave camp.

These are doors that are not with things that fall against them . not all the doors . like some in the bedroom that are noise when the other one is sleeping, The bottom bathroom doors are with them now and no problem. I will take off the catches on the drawes in the bed room next week as they are held closed when the slide comes in
