Maybe you have already done this, but I would also check the other faucets to check flow when the kitchen loses pressure. I had a pressure problem with the kitchen that sounds much like what you are experiencing. It turned out to be a faulty pressure regulator. When I replaced it, I haven't had any interruption of service since.
Something else to check is if you have a built-in filter system, like my 2008 does, remove the canister and see if you have a filter element in the canister. They left it out of mine, so I thought I had a replacement filter.
