Fixed the Zaxis!! (Remote landing leg control)

Figured out I had ordered the correct relays, but they sent me A/C coils on them instead of D.C. coils on the 2 relays. Bought the right relays from Grainer's this week, installed the Zaxis remote control today...works super!
I had the control fail while we were on the road, tried to fix it in Pocatello Idaho, ordered the relays from.. ebay, I think. They sent the wrong ones, I installed them and Zip and Pip...
Gave it a second look this week and Bam.. wrong relays, have to fire myself for not checking the numbers twice...
Got it fixed this morning. Check that off the list.

Ozz ... Oh Master Modder ... although you went one step further with a better remote ... I bought a "trombetta" (reversing DC contactor) and an up/down wired switch off a overhead hoist. That created a wired landing gear remote when I owned my old 2980RL. At least it got me away from peeking around the corner with one hand in the storage compartment when I were hitching and unhitching.

The hand switch and lead wire stored inside the LP compartment.

Very nice! and such a great French sounding name as well
That is a super idea, I know what you mean about the peeking around the corner.
